View (from property/room) in Mekong Riverview Hotel
We spent 12 glorious days at this hotel and loved every minute. The room was large with a seating area, beautiful dark woods and had a terrace with furniture that overlooked the Mekong River. It was a perfect place for our morning coffee and evening wine. The beds are imported from Sweden and were extremely comfortable. Breakfast is served in the restaurant across the street with a magnificent view of the Mekong. There is a small buffet with fruit, yogurt and breads in addition to a “made to order” menu with eggs, pancakes and noodle and rice options. I utilized the electric cart transport service into town a few times because of some arthritis issues and it was perfect. This allowed me to enjoy visiting the Temples, shops and restaurants. The best part of this property is the staff…always positive, helpful and welcoming. I’d return in a heartbeat!

A beautiful and charming hotel located in a quiet section on the Mekong. The rooms are beautifully appointed with - quite honestly - some of the best beds I've ever slept in. Lots of lovely touches in the rooms and plenty of seating and storage, including a terrace overlooking the river. Mr Noi and all the staff were outstanding - including our favourite breakfast team. Speaking of breakfast, I recommend the Lao soup, omelettes and fruit, all fresh and delicious. We also booked a great driver for a day through the hotel to take us to the waterfalls. The hotel is very conveniently located within easy walking distance to everywhere. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting beautiful Luang Prabang.

Staff was very attentive to our needs. The temperature as over 100 degrees (41 celsius in Luang Prabang) when we arrived and we were having a hard time dealing with the heat. Day manager Mr. Ping allowed us to change rooms to the ground floor and helped us adjust. The other staff went out of their way to arrange for tours and get us oriented to the town. Breakfast and meals at the river view restaurant across the street was outdoors and the staff were also very ettentive.

Our room had a great view of the mekong river and we could see the sunset from our balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They helped pick out good drivers for our trip to the Kuang Si waterfall and our sunset viewing cruise on the mekong river. The hotel room itself had a really nice rustic vibe without sacrificing any cleanliness and had a great adjustable bed 😁. 10/10 would come again.

Beautiful, old quarters-like hotel, shiny dark wooden floors and antique furniture. Very comfortable bed with a remote to choose angles. Balcony with a rattan table and armchairs facing the Mekong promises many magical moments. Everyone was very kind, thoughtful, and caring, doing everything they could to make the stay flawless - didnt even need to ask, they had already done it! Service at its best.
